Estimates suggest that over 150,000 gathered in Rome on the 25-26 November to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In Italy, where gendered violence remains high and the subject treated as a sensationalist emergency rather than a structural problem, this was a strong turnout, notable for its cross-generational dimension. The main march was organized by the movement Non una di meno, who, as Political Critique reported last week, have released a comprehensive 57-page strategy against gendered violence.
